EPC specialise in T-Shirt printing. We can also print a wide range of other garments and products. Our T-shirt printing department produces high definition screen-printed garments in quantities ranging from our minimum order of 10 through to 20,000 plus.
All our T-Shirt printing is done by a process known as screen-printing.

ARTWORK GUIDLINES FOR PRINTING

We try to decorate your garments exactly as you require them. In order for us to achieve a high standard of Screen Print we need to receive your artwork in the correct format.

If we do receive your artwork in one of the following formats we usually do not have to charge. This is decided on a design by design basis but usually artwork is free of charge. The guidelines are written using graphic design terminology. Usually a microsoft word .doc or jpeg can be used. If you require any help contact our office.

Artwork for Screen-Printing

Acceptable formats for artwork supplied.

Please supply all artwork for a PC.
4 colour process separations and simulated process separation.

High resolution (300 DPI+) Bitmap based file. BMP, EPS, JPG, AI, TIFF, PSD.
All other artwork (vector based artwork preferred)

Illustrator, AI & EPS formats. Please convert any text to paths or outlines.

If you are unable to obtain vector based artwork, artwork MUST be of a larger size than the final print, and of a suitable DPI so as not to pixilate when being manipulated, usually 300 DPI+.

Re-drawing of artwork and design origination will be charged at £20 +Vat

WHAT IS SCREEN PRINTING

Screen printing (or serigraphy) is a time-honored printing technology that is used to print a wide range of clothing products and fun promotional items. Screen printing is most valued for its ability to print on a wide variety of materials with flexibility. Each colour requires a screen. A frame is covered with screen material, and a stencil is affixed to the screen. Solid areas in the stencil block the ink from getting through the screen, while open areas in the stencil allow the ink to flow through. The ink is forced through the screen using a squeegee.

Screen print setup is charged at £35.00 per screen (ex VAT), on orders fewer than 100 items and £25.00 on all orders over this amount up to 500 items and FREE over 500 items.
